Colores de Mexico - Parte Dos

This lucky gal got to spend Christmas with her mom and dad in Los Cabos.  The weather was fab, the food was fantastic - but the vibrant colors of Mexico were what impressed me most.

Here are some photos I took during our stay, which includes a visit to an organic farmers market in San Jose del Cabo, sightseeing and shopping in SJC, Christmas lunch at The Office in Cabo, and our visit to the incredible operation called Flora Farm, just South of SJC.

Flora Farm was pretty much the coolest culinary endeavor I've ever witnessed: it's a 10-acre farm that's tucked away in the foothills of the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains and I might note, pretty difficult to find.  They serve food and drinks freshly harvested from their gardens in an open air dining room, and they have about 8 adopted dogs that roam the dining room looking for nibbles.

They are currently selling 'culinary cottages' located on their farm, and if I weren't right in the middle of culinary school, I think I would have signed up for one right there on the spot.

Check out their website here: http://www.flora-farms.com/

Happy New Year, Friends!
